lalkitab-moderntimesIn the branches of Vedic Astrology, there are various methods to understand time. For instance, if a planet is weak planet or under ill-effect, it is treated not only through the method of gems; japa, tappysa, varta, charity and yazna are also helpful to reduce the unfavorable planetary impact.

The methods which Vedic Astrology provides to treat an unfavorable planet are however based on scriptures, since they demand adequate knowledge, proper means of practice, a good amount of money to spend and above all a karmkandi scholar to perform the remedies, it is relatively difficult for a laity to perform them easily.

Though Lal-Kitab is a also one of the branches of Vedic Astrology, the methods, it presents to reduce an unfavorable planetary impact are so easy that a common man is able to understand them at his individual level. Secondly, he doesn’t have to spend much money to perform them. And thirdly or finally,no  karmkandi scholar is needed to perform these remedies.

The methods in Lal Kitab are practiced continuously from 40 to 43 days or 40 to 43 weeks. Secondly, no mantra is chanted to perform them. Instead a person needs to pour the concerned things into the flowing water (river) or bury them beneath the ground in the woods for 40 to 43 days regularly.

Since the things which are offered to a river or poured into the flowing water or buried beneath a lonely place are less expensive and the methods required to perform them are relatively easy, the remedies presented in Lal Kitab are gradually becoming popular among the common folk.

But if there happens to be an interruption of one or two days  while exercising a remedy, the person can restart the remedy. Besides this, the period of exercising the remedies is 40 to 43 days or 40 to43 weeks. Except these rules, since a person is not bound by any unnecessary obligation, Lal Kitab is gradually emerging as a useful asset among the common folk. And the remedies, it provides have been popularly known as ‘totaka’ (exorcism) among the common folk.

Another specialty of Lal Kitab is that it doesn’t pose any obstruction of caste, community and language for the aspirant. Next, the creation of an artificial planet through the combination of two planets is one more special characteristic of Lal Kitab. According to this characteristic feature, if  some planet,in the horary-chart of a person is under ill-effect, the artificial planet can reduce the unfavourable impact of the planet and have a compensatory effect on the prospects of the person..

While Vedic Astrology takes much purity into account, the accessibility of the remedies of Lal-Kitab to children, the old, the young and the woman, all alike, makes it increasingly useful, relevant and recognized to the modern day world.
